Job Description

Eufinger Studio is looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to build out the interior design department at our quickly growing company. The ideal candidate is experienced at leading and growing a team of designers and has experience in high-end residential and/or commercial projects. International experience is preferred. Knowledge of the design process and phases is a must. The Senior Interior Designer will be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects, a natural enthusiasm to mentor, support, assist and inspire other designers, and a curiosity to extend their skillset as well as Eufinger Studio’s Material Library, Vendor Database, and Contact Pool.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or architecture. (Art graduates are also encouraged to apply if you have been working in the interior design field for the required amount of time outlined below).

• 10+ years of Interior Design, Architecture, and Project Management experience.

• Language Skills: Excellence fluency in English in verbal and written form. Marathi or Hindi is a non-negotiable for this position to effectively communicate with local industry professionals.

• Excellent knowledge of materials, textures, artworks and art history, color theory, light physics

• An exceptional eye for detail while keeping the big picture in mind

• Enthusiastic to mentor and assist others.

• Effective teacher in different settings.

• Comfortable collaborating with designers and managers at all levels.

• Capable of multi-tasking projects that often vary in scale and scope.

• Positive, curious and flexible attitude.

• Strong software skills such as the Adobe Suit

Job Responsibilities

• Build out the interior design department at Eufinger Studio Pune office.

• Hire interior design and furniture design staff. Collaborate with the office manager to find and hire talented interior designers, who you will be leading on Eufinger Studio’s various interior design projects.

• Establish and grow Eufinger Studio’s Material Library, create textures, prototypes, interior design details, vendor database.

• Meet and build relationships with factory owners for the various interior products Eufinger Studio will be producing for interior design projects, such as custom furniture, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, textures, etc.

• Meet with suppliers and inform the design team on new materials & brands and latest industry developments.

• Produce/Manage imagery, sketches and that effectively communicates design intent to various stakeholders, including clients, collaborators, internal stakeholders, and the general public.

• Curation of Artworks for interior design projects.

• Enthusiastic about custom detailing and design

• Write interior design proposals for Interior Design projects per Eufinger Studio guidelines.

• Assist and inspire Eufinger Studio designers through mentorship, from 1-on-1 support to office-wide training sessions.

• Suggestions and development of Eufinger Studio’s processes as a quickly growing company.
