Pune - Junior Interior Designer

Location: Pune (on‑site)

Employment: Full‑time

Team: Pune Studio; cross‑office with SF Studio

Reports To: Project Manager and Principal (Pune)

Job Description

Eufinger Studio is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our growing Pune Studio. The ideal candidate is passionate about interior design, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to high-end residential and commercial projects.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants exposure to all phases of the design process — from concept development to documentation and execution. The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with senior team members, assist in design development, research materials, and help produce drawings, visualizations, and presentations.

At Eufinger Studio, we are looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and enthusiastic about developing their design skills while contributing meaningfully to the team.

At Eufinger Studio, we value the following qualities:

  • Be Proactive – Take initiative, do research, and don’t be afraid to try new things. Prevent issues rather than having to fix them later.

  • Be Reliable – Be someone leadership can trust to deliver on any task.

  • Be Accountable – From the big picture to the day-to-day, own the decisions you make.

  • Be Consistent – Prove you can do it, and then do it again.

  • Be Tenacious – Be committed, show up, contribute with passion, do your best, get stuff done and don’t give up.

  • Be Independent – Take a task or project and run with it, but don’t be afraid to ask questions.

  • Be Clever – Be smart, know your stuff, think critically, keep the big picture in mind, figure things out, and be curious.

  • Be Generous – Share your knowledge and skills with other teammates, and mentor others when you can.

  • Be Nice – Be a team player and a good colleague, be honest, respect your peers, don’t take yourself too seriously, and have fun!

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design or architecture (recent graduates encouraged to apply).

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in interior design or architecture preferred (internship experience counts).

  • Language Skills: Excellent fluency in English (verbal and written). Marathi or Hindi required for coordination with local vendors and contractors.

  • Basic knowledge of materials, color theory, lighting, and spatial planning.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

  • Positive, flexible, and curious attitude.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under guidance.

  • Strong sketching ability to communicate design ideas.

  • Proficiency in several of the following softwares:
Rhino, Revit, Twinmotion, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch-Up, InDesign, D5, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Job Responsibilities

  • Support senior designers in developing interior design concepts.

  • Assist in preparing presentation decks, mood boards, and client materials.

  • Produce drawings, 3D models, and renderings under supervision.

  • Research materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and artwork.

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the Material Library and Vendor Database.

  • Coordinate with local vendors and suppliers for samples and quotations.

  • Prepare interior documentation packages and assist in detailing.

  • Attend internal meetings and take notes; support follow-ups and task tracking.
